Eric Mintel Quartet to Perform in New Hartford

BookFriends of The Licia & Mason Beekley Community Library will present The Eric Mintel Quartet in A Jazz Holiday Concert, on Saturday, December 4, at St. Johns Episcopal Church in Pine Meadow

The Eric Mintel Quartet, a professional touring jazz unit consisting of Eric Mintel on piano, Neil Wetzel on sax, Dave Antonow on bass, and Jeremy Berberian on drums, has thrilled jazz audiences from the White House to the Kennedy center.  The group has recorded five acclaimed CDs, including their latest, "Dynamo." Eric was one of 12 musicians, selected from hundreds of competitors, to be featured on a Sony jazz compilation CD that will be sold worldwide.

The concert, which will feature tunes from Vince Guaraldis A Charlie Brown Christmas, will begin at 7:30, following a wine and cheese reception that begins at 7:00.  Tickets are $15 in advance (available at the Library) and $20 at the door.

This concert is sponsored by Fleet Bank, Paul Cryan Photography, Chapin House Bed & Breakfast, George Fillmore Goldsmiths & Jewelers, and the Peter M. Bakker Agency.
